What is Xopoz?

Xopoz is a privacy-first GPS team tracking app for Android. It lets you and your team share real-time locations securely, save points of interest, and coordinate in the field — all without relying on Google Maps or exposing your data to third parties.

Creating Your Account

Registration is simple and respects your privacy — only an email address is required.

1. Open Xopoz and tap Create Account.
2. Enter your email address. A valid email format is required because a verification email will be sent.
3. Choose a password and complete registration.
4. Check your inbox and follow the verification link.
5. Log in with your email and password to access the app.

Staff / CRM Token Login

If your organisation provided you with a token (e.g. CUST-ABC123), enter it directly in the login field — no email address needed. The login field accepts any valid identifier.

Setting Up Your Profile

Your profile controls how you appear to team members on the map.

• Display Name — Your full name, visible to teammates
• User Ticker — A 2–4 character abbreviation that appears inside your map icon (e.g. JD for John Doe)

Go to Settings → Profile to edit these at any time.

Configuring Your Device

Each device is an independent entity in Xopoz. You can customise how each device looks on the map.

• Device Name — Auto-detected from hardware; you can rename it
• Device Ticker — Short abbreviation for the device
• Device Type — Phone, Tablet, or Laptop
• Color — Choose a background color for your device icon on the map
• Emoji Icon — Pick one of 100 device-themed emojis (📱 💻 🎮 🎧…)

Privacy-First Design

By default, Xopoz does not share your location with anyone. Your GPS data stays on your device until you explicitly join a team and enable location sharing.

• No location data is shared without your explicit consent
• You can leave a team at any time to stop sharing
• Two independent privacy controls: local save and push to team
• All shared location data is encrypted — the server stores only encrypted blobs
