Privacy Controls
Xopoz has two independent location controls that can be combined to suit your privacy needs:
| Local Save | Push to Team | What Happens | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| ✅ On | ✅ On | Full tracking — history saved locally and position shared with team | Normal team collaboration |
| ✅ On | ❌ Off | Private tracking — history saved on device; you appear offline to the team | Personal navigation without team visibility |
| ❌ Off | ✅ On | Team-only mode — position shared but no local history stored | Minimal privacy, team coordination |
| ❌ Off | ❌ Off | GPS collected only — nothing stored or shared | Maximum privacy mode |
Intraday Tracking (Business Hours)
Limit GPS tracking to specific hours of the day — ideal for professional environments where employee tracking should only happen during working hours.
- Daily start time: Tracking begins at this hour (must be between 01:00 and 23:00)
- Daily stop time: Tracking ends at this hour (must be after start time)
- Either or both limits can be set independently
- When tracking is blocked by the time window, a red "Intraday blocked" label appears on the map
Status Message Examples
- "Tracking is always enabled every day" — no limits set
- "Tracking starts at 08:00 until midnight every day" — start-only limit
- "Tracking is enabled between 08:00 until 18:00 every day" — both limits set (valid)
- "Invalid configuration: start time must be before stop time!" — error shown in red
Data Retention
Choose how long your position data is kept (both locally and on the server). Use the slider to set a retention period from 1 to 30 days. Default is 30 days.
Data older than the retention period is automatically deleted.
Data Deletion
Three deletion options are available under Settings → Data Management. All require confirmation and cannot be undone.
| Option | What It Deletes |
|---|---|
| Delete Server History | Removes your location history from the server only. Local data is kept. |
| Delete Local Data | Removes all data stored on this device (history, POIs, settings). Server data is kept. |
| Delete Complete Account | Permanently deletes your account and all associated data everywhere. |
