Every monitoring workflow — called a Trox — runs through a four-stage pipeline: collect raw data, extract what matters, check against a condition, then notify.
Collect From Anywhere
Pull data from HTTP/HTTPS endpoints, SQL databases, local files, or running processes. Supports all HTTP methods — GET, POST, DELETE, and more.
Chainable Extraction
Isolate exactly what matters using a pipeline of Xtrax steps: XPath for HTML/XML/JSON, text boundary extraction, numeric conversion, and pass-through transforms.
Conditional Checking
Compare extracted values against reference thresholds. Numeric (greater, less, equal) or text (contains, does not contain) — each Trox defines its own trigger condition.
Multi-Channel Notifications
When a condition is met, fire one or many notifications simultaneously: email, HTTP webhooks, or Twitter. One input, multiple outputs.
